Sabre was relinquished by his owners to a shelter as they "couldn't afford him". He had been neglected for more than a year with a severely matted coat filled with feces stuck to his skin. He was flea infested, underweight, and deemed only available to rescue. This wonderful boy has the perfect Collie temperament, is affectionate, and very appreciative of having an inside home and getting love and attention. He is doing well on his housebreaking. Sabre looks and acts more like a 6 year old so we are not sure what his actual age is. He is scheduled for a professional grooming and a senior blood panel ASAP. More information as we learn more about this super sweet Collie boy. |
